The letters to the editor sections of our newspapers are widely read and it’s a great opportunity for you to spread the word about Mayor Chávez’s vision, results and leadership record. Make your voice heard - write a letter to the editor of the Albuquerque Journal and/or The Alibi.

To make sure that your letter gets published, it’s important to use your own voice and express your personal opinion. It’s also helpful to relate your comments to articles that have appeared in the paper you’re writing.

When composing your letter to the editor, please keep the following in mind:

• Thanks to Mayor Chávez, we are building world class sporting facilities, renewing our city’s parks and expanding affordable, clean and efficient public transportation.
• Mayor Chávez is a leader in the clean energy technologies of the future. Under his leadership, Albuquerque won international awards for it's green initiatives.
• Mayor Chávez is leading Albuquerque into the 21st century through investment in our museums, libraries and schools
• Mayor Martin Chávez is a strong leader who puts Albuquerque first and fights for all of us, regardless of party affiliation.
